Paul Bray Memorial Award

In Memory of Life Member Paul Bray

November 30, 1948 – August 28, 2007

Paul Bray
Although our hearts are saddened by Paul’s Death, it is important that we give thanks and recognize Paul’s life. You may remember that old Jimmy Stewart movie “It’s a Wonderful Life”. Paul was a lot like George Bailey. He touched so many lives. He helped so many people. He was an unselfish individual, who gave too much of himself. He truly cared for others, and the world is a better place because of Paul Bray.

In honour of Paul, the Fonthill & District Kinsmen Club is please to present the Paul Bray Memorial Student Volunteer Award. The award is presented every other year, and will next be presented in 2015.

The bi-annual award is in recognition of outstanding volunteerism by students attending a Welland or Pelham Secondary School. The Kinsmen will present a plaque to award the recipient and a $1,000 cheque in his/her name to a recognized charity of their choosing.

Nominations from the general public are encouraged. Procedural information will be available in due course.
